Working Through Covid-19
First of all, I hope everyone is safe and doing well. For those who are affected by Covid-19 or have a loved-one that is sick, please know that our hearts go out to you and wish you the best.
Over here at Kara Yoo, we are operational and still running. We have taken precautionary measures such as working from home when possible, and minimizing in-studio work to one or two people in the studio at a time. We have also had to make the very hard decision to layoff some of our makers due to the decrease in orders.
How does this affect you?
Order Fulfilment Delays - As we carry limited stock, and most orders are made-to-order, your order may take up to 7 days to fulfil.
Local Pickup - We have recently reinstated local pickups to Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Please lookout for the fulfilment email with further instructions on how to schedule aa pickup time.
Shipping Time - Parcels shipped within Canada don't seem to be affected; however, there could be a slight delay.
- Hours of Service - Operational hours at your local post office may have been reduced. Please check ahead of time if you need to pick up a parcel.
- Parcel Pickup - Parcels to be return-to-sender have been suspended and will be held at your local post office until further notice.

USA Shipments - Mail continues to be delivered; however, changes in USPS operations and delivery processes may impact delivery times.
International Shipments - Please check your local postal service website to see if there are any changes to mail service. Items sent from Kara Yoo via untracked shipping will go through Canada Post in Canada, and then through your local postal service once it reaches the country of destination.
